Will all carter rbs carbs. work for my 250, 1973 Maverick?
My fuel regulator pin broke :( when the carb. was being taken apart for a rebuild.
Are all models different in some way?
Will one that has bin labeled for a 200 be correct for my 250?
Will one made for a rambler 232 work?
At very least, if I get a really old beat up core.
Will the pin be interchangeable with other models?

    stock huh?

    First question: ew why?????
second: why don't you just fabricate your own?
or for a little different approach here you go

IM-30 Four bbl. intake manifold for Ford 240-300.
Offenhauser four bbl. intake manifold for Holley 390 or Carter AFB to Ford 240-300.
    PRICE: $289.00

That is for the 240/300 "big block" I6's that came in trucks. It will not work on the "small block" I6 that came in Mavericks.

    the second

buddy who broke it really went out of his way and tried to weld it, to fix it.
    this didn't work.
then he tried to fabricate one with a small lathe, and the pin would continualy break.
I was sure the cost of the pin really wasn't worth all that time and trouble.
he put the carb. back together with the broken pin. I would imagine this is not going to work right.
we put it on the engine, and yes it runs poorly, it worked poorly before we even started on the carb.
The car has bin sitting for years, the carb is only one thing wrong with it.
    I appreciate the help.
