Just picked up this '86 Fiero GT a couple months ago for a "summer" daily driver to work. Always thought they were kind of cool when Pontiac first came out with them....
nice fiero i've always like those too. one of the few RWD compacts from that era. Plus its mid-engine that just makes it cooler. and the best part are the ferrari kits for it
and I can say from experience, it GOES pretty nice, too! As much as I'm a Ford guy and love Mavericks, that car is just... substantial. It dosen't try to be something it's not, it just IS, and everyone knows it. It can make even the most die hard Ford guy question his loyalty, for sure!
Yeah, that one was a 66 Caddy Limo. Someone had swapped in a 500 cu.in motor instead of the original 429, and then turned the car into a lowrider. They removed the coil springs and simply let the whole weight of the car sit on the suspension stops. Because of that, the lower control arm on the passenger side had broken away from the frame. I was gonna take the motor & trans, but I just did'nt have time for it....too many projects already!! I sold it to a guy who needed 66 Caddy parts to restore his 66 convertable.
