Two 1973 LDO Mavericks (one 4 Drag one 4 driving like Mad on the roads :) ) also have a 75 6cyl Stock! Ok, well sort of Stock :P
yeah i thought this would get your attention. :yikes: too many people have been buggin me about this. so what i'm gonna do is basicly stop production one the cowl hoods. so if you want one get it now cuz i am probably not going to make one in some time maybe never... whatever i have left in stock is whats left... i actually have one blem with a clear coat spot on it about the size of a half dollar near the cowl.... i can discount off a little bit. if you are interested let me know... just remember it takes me like weeks to ship this sucker out cuz it is a real hassel to ship this thing and get box and packing supplies and sechudling truck pick ups...

ok back to the grabber hood..... just so you guys know i have someone that is going to give me a grabber hood sometime next month.. IF they can get it to me... he is doing the whole maverick clan here a favor!!! however the hood is in really bad shape and i may not beable to mold it not to meantion i still need another hood to cut up for the frame. so it still might not happen. :slap: soooo...

i know a few people offered to lend me a hood here however it sounded like you wanted it back... for one... if you lend it to me i'm gonna cut it up... and i don't want to be responsable for anything that happens to the hood at all even if the frame is cut off.

so i just thought i would throw it out there again if there is anyone that has a grabber hood out there that they are willing to give up? i will give them a deep discount on the new CF hood basicly close to what the hood would be worth on the open market depending on the condition of the hood. ie: if i need to take it to a body shop to fix.. well that cost money as well.

    hit me back...

oh yeah price? should be very close to the cowl at $675.00 depending on what the cost of CF on the market at the time of the production of the hood.

btw DON'T ask me to make anything else in CF right now or ideas on how a something or other would be a good idea... i can only take on one project at a time. ;)

btw if you guys are wondering what the hell happened to the boomerang.... i'm am still working on that and should have something to test fit by the end of feb or sooner. :bouncy: i'll post that under that message too.

Maverick Man, I am so sorry to get this thread off-topic, but you have to admit, you put half-naked chicks on a primarily male forum, and we are bound to get distracted.

But don't remove her just because of the distraction...I don't think any of us mind her one bit :D

What would be cool with the carbon hood is painting everything but the usaual black area and letting the carbon show instead! Sighn me up for one, I have been trying to get a grabber hood in decent shape for a long time! From what I understand the GLASS hoods dont have great panel alignment. Thanks for the hard work!

Hey mav man- I'll buy one of those CF grabber hoods if you manage to make them. Count me in!

....i wonder: would we be able to hear the angles weep from heaven if I cut it a bit for my blower to poke through..? :evilsmile because I think that would look fricking sweeeet.

I would love to be able to help you find a moldable hood, but the things have become rare all the sudden. I remember buying them for 15-20 bux. I paid 35 once and thought I was ripped off.

I will help you after the fact though...
    Count me in!
If I hit the lottery, I would buy one for each of my cars. ;)

Hey Derick I beleave the frames are the same for both stock and grabber hoods, just the outer skin is different.

That girl's bikini would look good on the floor here in my house............:yikes: .....but I digress.

I'm checking into a hood near the office. I'll let you know if it's any good. I know you'll need to cut it up but what the hell. I just want you to make me a carbon fiber windshield length cowl hood. :evilsmile
