looks like a front end rebuild kit..

to lower it all you need are the springs... but it won't lower the maverick enough... you'll have to cut them

everything should work in that kit but the tie rods and pitman arm. you can make the sway bar work but things will be to be relocated.

    try reading over this post...

    http://mmb.maverick.to/showthread.php?t=17905

second page list part numbers and info

Mustang II parts will not work unless you convert the whole car to rack... never seen dropped spindels on a maverick though i'm sure since they make them for mustangs i'm sure you can get them to work with a maverick

yes was posted a bit ago however the car does not get driven much.. i think it has less then 500 miles on it since then... if that! ... lol!

the rear on that car is a stock 8 incher... mavericks are know for saggy leaf springs over time... it just happens that this maverick was one of them. so it was no need to lower. though my others are done with a lowering block... very easy set up.. or you can have them dearched or made already lowered.

Dropped spindles are about 500 bucks a set. Fatman Fabrication has them, they list them for '67-'73 Mustangs, but they should work fine on an Maverick as well.

i'd just go with a set of standard springs and put lowering blocks on it. cheapest way to go... if your not drag racing i don't see the point perfect pinion angle.

for front springs... yes i cut the lowering ones... they don't lower the maverick much at all. i cut a coil and a half... see here http://www.maverickman.com/Suspension.html but a that kind of cut may be a bit much for you. so you can start with a full coil and go from there.

I installed a set of the FatMan spindles on my Comet. They fit just like the original spindles but now the front is 2 inches lower as advertised. I have not put on the caliper mount yet because I might try diifferent ones than factory. The leaf springs you are talking about are either mid-eye or reverse-eye. I know they are made for 65 Mustangs, a friend has them for his Mustang and they lowered it about 2 inches. I don't know if they would fit but there are companies that will make special order leaf springs. Good luck

Some of us have coil springs that are for the early mustangs so I dont see why they would not work. The later year mustangs stuff will not work with out alot of mods.
