    Back seats

Are the seat stitching and pattern exactly the same?

What is the difference between the rear seat in a 71-73 Stang hardtop and convertible? Or in your case, a Cougar hartop and convertible?
The reason I ask is that my uncle tried to put a set of 73 rears in his car with the fronts and they did not fit properly. Yeah, they were the same width and they physically clipped/bolted into place, but the shape of the side was so different it didn't match the side panels. The seat was also shorter, so passengers would sit really low. Both these combined made for a very bad looking fit. Gaps everywhere... on the sides and between the top and bottom of the seat. The covers would not swap either.
That said, the seats were not out of a ragtop. If the ragtop has a different shape and taller top and bottom portion, it might work.
I would be curious to know.

Thanks for the Info but as I took a closer look and researched I found that they are not maverick buckets but pinto buckets. Will mustang foam and covers still work? If not where can I get pinto upholstery? Will the tracks work for a maverick?
