Fordmaster169, Great console idea! That's what I'm going to do. The ebay search is on again. Thanks

At first glance that looked just like a Camaro console...

    This is the manual version.
The only problem to me would be what to do with the brake lever.
    They made several versions.
Some have the fold out drink holder on the passenger front.
    Holds a decent size cup.

The auto version uses a cable shifter.
Would be an easy retrofit IMO.

This one doesn't have a lid.
Shows all the little bells and whistles...
There are switch panels with 1 or 2 switches, or no panel leaves a cig pack slot.
Lighter, power port, coin dispenser, CD slots, etc... Rear cup holders too.

Heck, run your brake cable to the stock lever...

    Ready for flames...
I know it's GM, but it is good stuff regardless.

That brake lever slot would make a great sandwich holder, right next to the cupholder.

It does look good. I'm just not real big on Consoles myself. Great job for scouting out for those that do!!!!!

I remember them being kinda tall at the arm rest. With my Escort GT seats sitting so low, it would almost be a head rest for me LOL!
    Does look really good though.

I've gotten so used to some sort of console or armrest in all the vehicles I've had for the past 17 years. I think I need a place to put my arm now.

Hopefully a console with an armrest won't interfere with the shift to 2nd and 4th gear.
