Ok, thanks Dave. If you find one great, If not I'm going to try and make something work. Thanks, Mike
Going from bench to buckets ... bucket seat tracks are the toughest part of the whole deal, especially if you want to stay with factory-style seats. You need to get the tracks and the riser blocks that go on each inboard track (a small bell-shaped one front and a square one rear for each inboard rail). Most of these cars were bench seats, so bucket seat tracks are a bit hard to get and spendy.... expect to spend $150 for a set of tracks. Took me a long time (years) to find some rusty LDO tracks that required a lot of work to bring them back. Of course, I found another crusty set about three months later ... If you want to go with aftermarket seats, they usually come with kits to make a set of rails (or a solid mount ... usually for race-only cars with one driver). You will have to fabricate the whole set-up, and the floor is not level, so you would have to make different risers inboard (and perhaps outboard, too).
call me redneck... but a 12lb hammer works good on that hump on the passenger side. did for me anyway
