I also recommend dealing with The Maverick Connection and Auto Krafters as both have lots of Maverick/Comet parts. Ebay is also a good source for parts.[/quote]

I have dealt with Maverick Connection, Auto Krafters And Craig. All are great to do business with. I think they all are doing a great service for parts on our cars. I have also had a lot of questions answered on this forum. I thank all of you for the help. Joe Hubbard

Don't have any pics. The engine is located correctly, the block ball stud and the frame ball stud for the clutch z-bar align perfectly. When we did this we made a small square wooden frame and drilled four holes in it to simulate the four block mounting holes. We bolted the motor mounts to the wooden frame and lowered it over the frame horns. The motor mount bolt holes aligned with one of the existing frame horn bolts on each side. The ears on the motor mounts are wider than the frame horns so you can position them where you need to front-to-rear. a long horizontal bolt with spacers in front of and behind the frame horns keeps everything located front to rear. Put a level on the intake's carb pad and add spacers (cut pipe in my case) between the motor mounts and engine block until the carb pad is level.

Yep, you gotta respect that. But after reading that, to me it makes $119 for the repos seem like a better deal... Bolt on and go!

When I did the engine swap back in 1973 you couldn't get frame mounts from the dealer and there weren't any V8 cars in the junk yards yet. We had to improvise. It wasn't a big deal. Took all of about 10 minutes to locate the mounts with the wooden fixture and about 5 minutes to determine what length spacers were needed.
