front torque boxes

    They are trying to figure out, if it came fro PA, because someone in PA use to own one that was pretty close to the same, and sold it...

    maverick sheet metal

    high again from the not so cold north,i am looking for suppliers for sheet metal for my 72 maverick[i.e. torque boxes & floor pans].is there any body that makes replacment pieces,or do i have to build them myself.any info would be greatly appreciated thanx

    At this time, no one makes any direct fit floor pans or torque boxes for the Maverick/Comet.

    No mater what you find, originally designed for a Mustang, will need some sort of work to be close enough to fit.

    Just a question here, my torque boxes are just intact enough to template from but not enough to leave alone. They appear to be made of heavier stock than the 16 guage that Jean used in the repair article. Does anybody know what these front torque boxes were made from origonally? Also how has the new box held up so far?
