getting bigger wheel sizes in the tail

    Now, that is one helluva pic!!! Any suggestions on how to shrink that up to something moderate?

    I hope everyone else got the GIST OF THAT PIC!!!

    my budy's got a 73 with 265/50/14 on some old mags but not to sure how wide the rim is
    he had to roll the inside where the panels connected

    forgot to add that he had to do that because of when he squated the rear it rubbed but he liked the way it sits and did not want to add shackles

    I added shackles, then added the bigger tires. I will probably cut the shackles down, to 4". They were stock 3" and are now 5". I may drop back down to 3" if it looks good and does not rub...

    I ran some old 15x7 dodge cop wheels with 255/55's on the back and they wanted to rub both the lip and the spring.The same set didn't rub on a 2-door.I know the quarters bulge out more on a 2-door,but is the rearend dimensions the same?:confused: Both were factory v8 cars w/stock suspensions.

    I'm running 215/70/15 front on a 15/7 wheel and a stout 275/60/15 on a 15/8 rim on rear. Rear leafs were rearched and are 1 1/2 over sock height. No rubbing issues at all and love the look. No spacer plates at all. (y)
