Granada Rear End To Maverick

yeah i think the rangers came with 8.8's too...not quite positive though

I also heard that the 4x4 explorers came with 4.10's
my friend got one of these explorer rearends for his 94 lightning (8.8 w 410 and LOC stock) and it was a trac loc too !!

if i remember correctly, ford did use an 8.8 on the ranger with all kinds of different gears in the ranger rear end...i think there is a code or something on it saying what it has...
im not positive but i would like to know

 

I'm thinkin' I might want a Granada rear end now...So I can use a deeper backspaced wheel...

 

i was thinkin an 8.8 because of availability for parts .... lots of gear ratios to choose from and such..

I just don't like C-clip rearends. I know that C-clip eliminators are available. I've always like the old ford 8 and 9-inch design...

 

sorry if its a stupid question...but what is a C-clip rearend??
