Well FoMoDave & Craig, PST could not tell me what the stock spring rate was. I couldn't find that info anywhere. They did say that because of me lowering the car the springs will be alot stiffer. When I pulled the stock springs out, the new springs were 2 inches shorter. Last night I put the old springs back in. The guy next door came & stood on the front bumper. He weights about 230lbs. A lot more than I do. I measured the car while he was standing on it. Than I put the new springs back in. Craig your right, the car didn't come down that much but it was enough to hit the tire. So the spring is stiffer. I just don't know what the spring rate is. I would hate to buy a new spring that is 550lbs & it turns out to be the same as what I got. I have come you with a smaller tire size that sits inside the fender. I pick one up last night. It works find 225/45/17. Just small enough to sit about an inch inside the fender.

If the front wheels rub on turns, you're gonna need wheels with a deeper backspacing. I had the same problem after cutting one coil off my springs, with 225/60R-15s on 15x7" Torque-Thrusts with 3-3/4" backspace. They're just too close to the sheet-metal. I'm gonna get some wheels with a 4-inch backspace. If they still rub, I'm gonna buy new springs. I really don't want to put a more narrow front tire on there...

get some kyb gas a just shocks... that'll help minimize the bounce on bumps.

Thanks Scott & T.L. I fond a place here that might be able to shave a little off the offset. KYB shocks came from Summit, I put them on last night. I have not got a chance to drive it yet.
