That sounds great. I know they have a parking lot car show at Jordan Landing every once in a while. I know not all the cars are show cars but it would be fun for us to use an event like that as a meet and greet. Plus seeing 4-5 Mavericks next to each other would probably take some people down memory lane.

What color is your 77? I will keep my eye out and wave if I see you, and you do the same. I think mine might be more easily recognizable...with red and black paint job...

:hmmm: I've heard theres a cruise night on Weds evening or something during the spring/summer months next to Seal's Caffe in Kaysville/Layton, and big bumpers look Great too! It's not as easy to attach photos these days but check out my Gallery for proof.

I will keep my eyes out for the "tank" as someone called it. Your car looks good, that was a great deal on it too. Can't best a daily driver in good shape for less than a grand...

I still like the small better, but your car is freaking sexy. I love, love that stripe in the new paint job. That makes all the difference in the cars appearance.

I would love to do a cruise and get all the mavericks there. Would be fun. First I have to get possession of my car...lol. As of now I'm still waiting till the 12th when I can pick it up.

yeah 4 doors are great. it makes it easy to get my daughter in her car seat. that is why i was able to convince my wife to let me get the car because the other car we had, other then her's, was a two door.

Welcome to the board, hey and just so you know I tried for about 2 months to buy that grabber hood of yours from the guy that sold you that car..so if you wanna sell it.... Of course I am starting to wonder if im the only one of us members on here in Utah on here with small bumpers...although Bart is close with his 73 comet..

Im up for it anytime John just let me know and hopefully we can coordinate it better next time. Im still driving my car down to Ogden about every day so im ready when you guys are.:thumbs2:

Sorry, I won't be selling that Grabber hood. It is already going on my car, as we speak it is being painted and bolted on the car. To me, the Grabber hood is the MOST important feature of the entire car...lool

:) Mark I'm going to charge my battery tonight and hopefully get it aligned Saturday then any sunny dry road day is good for me. I need to get my tax return in soon and take care of some rust on the door seals and get a new battery tray. Bart had something fall off the trailer and had to go back to the freeway and find it and I lost both you're phone numbers it's too bad I didn't work out the I planned.I put gas in my car when I went to meet you guys and I came back with less than when I left that's never happened to me with any car except the in Maverick it was kind of funny.

i do have small bumpers to go on my comet but i think your right most of the mavs i spot driving around tend to have big bumpers on them. but i do know a guy who has a nice 72 grabber he saved from a junk yard back in the 80's
