Hoses may or may not. If Stang is small block, hoses probably route between engine and shock tower, will be too short on Maverick. Big block hoses that route from pump, alongside block to valve would likely work. Do you the other parts, valve, Maverick center link etc? Center link is Maverick/Comet specific.
I have the center link and control valve all I need is the pump, hoses, and cylinder. The guy has them all on Craigslist and I wanted to verify that they work before hand.and it came out of a 289 Smallblock
Most all P/S parts are similar enough to swap, though may require some fabrication(you kno adapation).. If your pulleys are single groove, you'll have to source water pump and probably crank pulleys. Original setup used single belt to drive alt and another for water pump & P/S. You also need the frame bracket for end of cylinder. I seem to remember ones for my Comet and my Fairlane slightly different but probably would swap.
I don’t have a water pump yet so that won’t be an issue. Do you think it would be safe bet to not get the lines they look the same is there any measurements of the lines that I can compare them to?
The Maverick/Comet pressure hose is a two piece design that curves under pump then loops back under car.
Are you buying these pieces new or were they run on the car for awhile? If they are used then you are likely going to need to rebuild them. It is not difficult to do but it is something to consider.
here is the link to the ram if that helps i just wanna see if this ram will work aswell https://www.mustangsplus.com/1967-1968-1969-1970-Mustang-Power-Steerig-Ram.html
Master Parts Catalog shows a different part number for a Maverick cylinder. 70-71 Fairlane and 70-up Maverick used the same part number...67-70 Mustang used a different part number than the Maverick/Fairlane. The valve assembly are the same part number.
Difference is going to be length, I'd guess maybe ½". Doubt it'd make any difference , can juggle thickness of rubber mounts for ram that much. The Mustang and Torino both have wider tracks than Maverick, but Mustang is different.
