    Yes Rick -- it is
an all original coupe (fastback with trunk).

I should have said FASTBACK coupe - regret not saying that.

We sold "Molly Maverick" to a conscientious fellow in Conn.

Have you found MAVERICK CONNECTION south of me in Ripley WV??

Reply if you wish to contact our buyer in CT

Thanks for your interest -- NAME AND PHONE NUMBER WITHELD BY ME

It may have been a old pinto like the sprint in the pic, but with a hatch like the silver one. That would make it look very "Mav Like", just a thought.

Yeah I wonder if it wasn't an early Pinto considering they used the same taillights as well as other similarities.

    No I was 17 , and we had 4 Mavericks at the time. A '70 2 door a '73 2door a '75 4 door & a '76 2 door.
    I know the difference.
It had the same body lines as every other Maverick, no short hatch like the Pinto. Same lines where the trunk is on others, but the cut went up and surrounded the rear window. She even opened it for me.I was shocked when I saw it.
God I can't beleive this was the only one on the planet and I just let it drive away.I'm gonna do some research within Ford.

Maverod, I have no doubt in my mind that you believe you saw a hatchback Maverick (instead of just trying to B.S. us).

Unfortunately, until you show us credible evidence, the Maverick Hatchback will remain as mythical as a unicorn.

Best of luck in your search. (y)
