That's a '57, right? I've never seen 3.56 gears for a 9-inch, I see 3.50s all the time. Maybe it's just the older ones like yours that had 'em...

 

yup , suprised me , i found the tag under all the dirt and spray bomb undercoating and it says 3.56

i thought most of them came with 3.20-3.25 or so

Lol. I tore the tags off of every nine inch i could find and had to scrape them down to read them.
Then I felt bad and set the tag next to the axle.
