Should I upgrade to 2 bbl carb??

    I didn't think "fuel bowls" could dump fuel into the engine...:huh:

    Idk. My mechanic is a Ford guy, and a friend, so I trust his opinion. Maybe I got it wrong. Something is causing a fuel leak. Maybe he said the floats I bad. Sorry I'm not sure now. I just trust that it needs to be replaced

    sounds like a botched rebuild job to me. it should have new internal parts that came in the rebuild kit.

    Unless the throttle shaft bushings are worn, a proper rebuild should solve any problems, and it should not leak at all.

    If the float is sinking it will flood the engine that is most likely what is wrong, I have a 600 Holley that does the same thing it has a pin hole in the float and the float fills up with gas! When the float sinks the needle and seat stays open
    causeing the carb to flood the engine!
