    I agree. However, the Cobra version was tollerable. Especially with Farah Fawcett driving it.:)

    Basically what I did was cut the end off the Thunderbirds inner tube and weld it to the stock maverick. That way it would just bolt on to the tube and use the stock sheild. Then machine a new collar to get rid of the shifter ring. I also added about an inch to it because Tammy's always feel like it needs to be closer to me. The steering shafts upper and lower (clapsibe) slid together because ford used all the same type stuff for once.

    1971 Mav with all the trimmings....302 Auto, Custom buckets, Power Brakes, A/C, PS, Grabber hood, spoiler, and mirrors.
    Is ANY upgrade Thomas Hackman does a straight bolt on? I don't think I've seen one yet, the guys got skills and he's not afraid to use them. :clap: :clap: Which is great because it gives all of us ideas and boosts our confidence enough to where we actually think we can do them, where that is true or not we find out later :p .
