    The tube is exactly the same size as the one I took out of the car. The ad also said that the retainer ring didn't come with it, but it did.:Handshake

    If you don't want to cut the plug off, you can pull it up into the trunk and tap into the wiring without cutting it off. just strip back the insulation, wrap and solder the wires and then wrap it with good quality electrical tape. I would definitely solder the wiring though to keep it from corroding over time in the semi-humid environment of the lower quarter panel. you can also cut the wires and heat shrink the connection to make a better seal if you are in wet areas of the country.

    Great info :bowdown: But I got you beat on low buck mods. Molded my Boss Nine scoop to the Comet's hood line using a half full tube of "Liquid Nails" :biglaugh:that just happened to be hanging on a nail in the shop. :D And my shifter console is an inverted stainless steel "mud pan" that drywall hangers use. :Welcome:
