Previous posts showed the preparation and cutting of mavmans 74 drag car. These pic's will show the Pulley engineering kit installed with four link and such. We had a 57 9in housing so narrowed it and got the Moser axles shortned and resplined for the new setup. Kept the old 9in for use in another project I have in mind. Just for info, the frame kit and four link stuff is less than 1000.00 and the ten point cage(pic's of it installed later) is around 350.00. Being we live only 70 miles from Pulley, drove up and picked up the parts ourselves to save shippping etc. Much work left to do yet but maybe the torque monster 351 will grab some track with the big rubber and adjustable suspension.?????

Was this kit made for the Mav or a universal type kit?

    Great pics!

Those are some of the most descriptive pics I've seen of a back half install.
    Thanks!

would you be able to take any rear pics of the car. I am curious what the frame rails look like when attached at the rear. I am doing my install very soon and appreciate all the pics you could send. Thanks BIg BLock Mav

No, it was a universal kit. We welded it all up here, I picked up the frame rail "kit" (rails, dropped crossmember, and a 8' stick of 1 5/8" .134" wall tube for the shock and rear crossmember) from Lyndee Pulley @ Pulley Engineering and cut and welded it all here at home. All measurements are within 1/64" (so far lol) even after welding. Not shown are the frame connectors, cage, etc which I have done in the past week. Still waiting on the axles in order to do some tin work, so I know exactly where the tubs go in relation to the tires.

I got a nice clean 71 that I want to do that one day. I'll have to keep this in mind. Too many other projects to do first.

    Wheel Tub Install...

    MavMan,

Give me a shout when you get ready to install the wheel tubs. I've got a pretty slick method that I use that cuts a ton of time out of the equation. Costs under $5 bucks too.
